The Magnificat is the canticle prayer of joy, wonder, and praise to God in Luke’s Gospel. Mary proclaims that her soul “does magnify the Lord,” Magníficat ánima méa Dóminum. As believers, we too are called to magnify Him in all ways of our lives, including through our financial resources.

How do we magnify the Lord with our wealth? One way is by allocating our capital toward companies which directly build the kingdom while avoiding promotion of those which do not. Unfortunately, many investment funds quietly finance causes which actively oppose core Christian beliefs. While you may not knowingly support causes which are contrary to your values, your investments may be working to advance undesirable causes to the tune of thousands of dollars. To correct this, we use faith-based investment screeners to identify problematic holdings and transition your portfolio into alignment with your values and objectives.

Why Magnificat?

The Visitation (Jean Jouvenet, 1716), displayed in the Cathedral of Notre-Dame de Paris, depicting the moment Mary visits Elizabeth and proclaims the Magnificat.

For what does it profit a man, to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?
— Mark 8:36
